Introduction
After sending Ether from your MetaTask to your exchange account, you can convert it to your preferred currency. Your cryptocurrency balance is displayed on the home screen. Follow these steps to withdraw and convert to your bank account.
How to withdraw Ether in dollar, pounds or other fiats?
1 – On your Kraken home screen click on “Convert”
2 – Enter the amount of Ether you want to convert.
3 – By default, the option “To BTC” will be checked, click on this checkbox to select the currency you want to receive.
4 – A list of all available currencies appears. For this example we will use GBP (Pounds Sterling). Click on the currency you want to receive in your account.
5 – The automatic system updates the information. Click “Review”
6 – Check the rates and click “Confirm”
7 – Click “Done” to finish the conversion and return to the home screen.
8 – You will see that your Ether has now been converted to your Fiat (currency). To carry out the withdrawal click on “Withdraw”
9 – By default to market “Bitcoin”. Click on the checkbox to change to the desired currency.
10 – In the example we chose “Pounds Sterling”, if you are not operating in pounds choose the currency you converted in the previous steps.
11 – If you are performing the operation for the first time, you must add a bank account. To do so, click “Continue” and fill in the required information. It’s important to note that the information required will vary if you withdraw using a different method. In this example, we will withdraw to a bank account using the Fast Payment System (FPS).
12 – Enter your bank information and click “Add bank account”.
13 – Enter the amount you want to send and verify the information is correct. Click “Withdraw” to continue.
14 – Check that the information is correct and click “Confirm”
15 – Done! You will be able to track the status of your withdrawal from your home screen.
